The 8th Annual Montgomery County SPCA Dog Walk and Pet Party, benefiting the MCSPCA New Shelter Building Fund, will again be held at Shuttleworth Park in Amsterdam. Admission is by donation. Dog Walk registration begins at 11am, with prizes for the most donations collected! Dog-less supporters are encouraged to walk also! The Pet Party continues from 11am – 3pm, with vendors for pets and their people, demonstrations, adoption clinics, SPCA Shelter Shop, animal rescues, microchip clinic, educational booths, petting zoo, contests, prizes, food, and much more! Dog owners are reminded to be prepared to clean up after their dog.

The Montgomery County SPCA will again sponsor its popular Holiday Pet Photos, from 11am to 3pm at the Riverfront Center. Have a holiday photo taken of your pet and help the homeless animals of the MCSPCA Animal Shelter! $10 per photo. Photos taken of just your pet, or your whole family, and even with Santa! The MCSPCA Holiday Shop will be open and a microchip clinic will be available. All pets must be leashed or in secure carriers while in the Riverfront Center.
